When Caitlyn Jenner took to television in April to announce she was transgender, messages of support poured in from across the country. She was featured on the cover of Vanity Fair and received an ESPY award for courage.
But even as Jenner starred in a reality TV docu-series about her transition, a deeper question remained.
If Jenner werent already a rich celebrity, would she have received the same support? How would other, less famous transgender Americans be treated?
On Monday morning, a small town in Missouri provided an answer.
For two hours, approximately 150 students stood in front of Hillsboro High School to protest a transgender teens use of the girls facilities.
And for those same two hours, the 17-year-old transgender teen huddled inside her counselors office with the door locked.

Exactly.
Having a Y chromosome is the telling fact, you can remove the appendage.
Crude.
It is very sad. The picture depicts a very disturbed young man.
It angers me that the media just goes right along, calling him a “her”, and using the name Lila, obviously not the name he was given.
There’s no such thing as “transgender”. It’s made up. There’s only mental, emotional, and SPIRITUAL illness. Satan is having a hay day with all of this.
It’s not any different than the two ...guys or two chicks...who want a marriage license in Kentucky..
They could go anywhere for the license, but they want to FORCE this woman to do it.
It’ s not about a marriage license or a bathroom...
It’s about forcing people to give up their values, or beliefs
Actually, he is an ugly white boy. I saw his photo in an article posted here yesterday.
If this school permitted a self-proclaimed “girl” to enter the locker room where my daughter was undressed, it would be the staff that would be involuntarily transgendered.

Bingo!
Johnson doesn’t belong in the girl’s locker room.
It was once a common practice in medicine to try to re orient a confused patient to the reality of person, place and time. Now? Anything goes. This psycho can express whatever its version of reality might be and everyone else must play along.
I wonder — Do the staff and supervisors in city halls and federal buildings around the country enforce this perversion in their restrooms ... or is this something elected officials and judges force only on our children?
Then the headline is a slur on Negroes and unacceptable.
Back in the 1950's, public shame would have forced the boy's family to send him away to live with a distant uncle(institutionalization). Today, public shame rarely exists and the USSC has ruled for the insane. Ozzie and Harriet are dead. Sigh.
After seeing that photo, that’s the first thing I thought.
What a disaster!
It came out as homosexual, found that the real boys don’t want to have sex with it, so it now identifies as a “girl” in a new extreme effort to be accepted by the healthy males as a sex partner.
It is horrifying how many of these men in dresses now identify as “lesbian”, in short, retain sexual attraction to women while wanting to be seen as one.
There are big differences between MASH and today.
* he was clearly doing it as a sane way to get out of the military, he wasn’t crazy only pretending to be, and everyone knew it
* obviously still heterosexual because of his girlfriend and reluctant to sign paperwork agreeing he was homosexual to get kicked out
* the issue of cross-dressing was rightfully seen as ludicrous and funny, not that he changed his sexual identity by changing his clothes

Upon hearing this story the two men discussing this conversation exclaimed, we must be lesbians too, we love women. From then on as neighbors they referred to each other as lesbians due to their love of women.
