Clinton Goes Under Water; Trump Polarization Grows (Jeb tanks with Strong Conservatives)
ABC News ^ | 9/2/15 | Gary Langer

Posted on 09/02/2015 5:33:32 AM PDT by jimbo123

Negative views of Hillary Clinton have jumped to nearly their highest on record in ABC News/Washington Post polls, while Donald Trump’s personal popularity has grown more polarized along racial and ethnic lines.

-snip-

Jeb Bush, even while generating far less controversy than Trump, is seen almost as negatively, by 17 points overall, 38-55 percent. Bush’s favorable rating is flat while his unfavorable score is up 8 points since July, including 9-point increases among Republicans and independents alike. He’s also lost ground among conservatives, and is especially weak among strong conservatives, a group in which Trump far surpasses Bush.

I view the Romney thing as a rumor and no more.

I say he is not going in.

Do you know this to be true or is it merely another opinion or your wish?

Just watch. This headline is anti-Hillary and will be altered as soon as the grownups (media hacks) report to work

No big deal.

Are you saying that what is true is no big deal?

For me, I am looking at Trump, Cruz, and Carson very close.

But the most important thing is NO MORE DEMS in the White House in 2016!

But, according to Jeb...wasn’t this the plan? That he could take the nomination without the base...without the conservative base?

Guess that’s not working out so well for him, eh?

He made his decision early this year that he will not run, remember?

I disagree about Carson. Being a non-political outsider, the only way he could govern effectively is to make those around him dance to his tune. I have not seen that aspect of him.

His past flubs with 2nd amendment and mandatory vaccines also bother me.

Finally, one can enjoy the spectacle of Trump the man making the GOPe worms squirm without going all-in for Trump the candidate. Conservatives were railroaded into support for McCain and Romney in the last 2 elections. Third-parties, behind the scenes, were pulling the strings.

At least this time, it appears that the candidate himself is driving the bus. We’ll see if it goes out of control or not.

And, no, I do not consider myself a Trump supporter. An amused watcher? Absolutely!

Well, iYeb did state from the start he wasn't going to play to the Conservative Base. Looks like it is working out well for him.

Now he needs to pander to the Gazillion Middle East freeloaders Obama and Jarrett have imported.

Why do you keep asking the same question over, and over again?

Do not make a big deal of it, okay please.

Clinton is seen far more positively by Hispanics than are Trump, Bush or even Biden; she’s also highly popular among blacks. But, after a period of missteps chiefly focused on her handling of e-mails as secretary of state, her unfavorable rating is up by 14 points even among blacks. Her main trouble, regardless, rests in the fact that she’s so broadly unpopular among whites.

Looks like Hillary is the most polarizing figure in the race. High percentages of minorities are polarized in support of her and the Dims. Polarization means to concentrate, and no other candidate concentrates voters by group as much as Hillary.

while Donald Trump’s personal popularity has grown more polarized along racial and ethnic lines.

Media BS. Whites are the least polarized group in the American electorate and usually split around 55/45 between Republicans and Democrats, whereas minority groups are polarized from 70% to 95% around the Democrats.

And these popularity polls closely follow how people actually vote.

¡Yeb! spends half his time campaigning in a foreign language to foreigners.

He clearly loves Mexico and Mexicans, unfortunately for him, we want a President that loves America and Americans.

Yes, of course. It is apparent to me you are just posting on this thread to see yourself post and that your posts are meaningless opinions. Carry on.

I say that you are obtuse.
It is my opinion that you have trouble recognizing opinions.
I wish that you understood that people “say stuff” on the internet.
My personal belief is that you have an unrealistic expectation that all statements should be fact-based.
It seems to me that you should lighten up.

All Mitt entering the race would do would be to further water down the RINO, GOPe vote in the primaries. This would help the conservatives and hurt the Bush wing of the party.

Just saying what Mr. Romney said early this year, he is not running. It is not meaningless, just telling the truth.
