Many Hispanics want Pope Francis to address Trump on immigration
Washington Post ^ | 09/01/2015 | By Mary Jordan

Karla Perez loves Pope Francis. Like her, he’s a native Spanish speaker. He is also the first Latin American to lead the Catholic Church, and he talks easily about soccer and prefers public buses to luxury cars.

Most of all, though, Perez loves this pope because he has made better treatment of immigrants a centerpiece of his two-year-old papacy.

She hopes, as do many of the nearly 30 million Hispanic Catholics in the country, that this month’s visit by Francis will change the tone of the nation’s divisive immigration debate.

“I’m an immigrant myself, and I hear politicians saying they want to build higher walls. I can’t remember a time when it’s been this ugly,” said Perez, 31, an elementary school teacher who emigrated from El Salvador when she was a child and now attends Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Alexandria, Va.

Perez said that at a time when politicians are talking about mass deportations, “anchor babies” and revoking birthright citizenship, she is eager to hear the pope’s “gentle, kind voice that makes you feel like you are going to be okay.”

On Sept. 23, the morning after the pope lands in Washington on a flight from Cuba, thousands of Latinos — 50,000 or more, by some estimates — will walk, take the bus or ride the Metro to the White House following special sunrise Masses held across the region in Spanish. The pope is expected to greet the crowds outside after meeting with President Obama.

Francis will hold high-profile meetings with Latinos and immigrants in each of the three U.S. cities he is visiting — Washington, New York and Philadelphia — and Catholic leaders hope he urges elected officials to fix the system that has left 11 million undocumented people living in the United States in the shadows.

These are the same morons that elect people like Hugo Chavez in their own countries and then wonder why they have to begin eating dirt.

The pope might address the situation that causes over a million people to flee Mexico every year.

Illegal aliens are not immigrants. They are not undocumented either. Most have multiple fraudulent documents.

Immigrants are people who apply in their home country to be Americans, wait their turn, pay their fees, learn the language and comply with the laws.

Illegal aliens are to immigrants

as

Burglars are to house guests

Render unto Caesar -- obey the country's immigration laws.

The old "I'm an immigrant myself ..." routine. Look, if you wait the time, pay the fees, file the paperwork, and jump through all the right hoops, then you are a legal immigrant. Why -- why on earth -- would someone do all of the right things, and then turn around and applaud people who just jump over a fence and announce: "TA-DA! Make me a citizen!" I just don't get it.

When did the WAPO decide to get religion? I think this is one of those “In Yo Face, Whitey” illegal alien things. If “Karla” had half a brain, she’d know that Trump doesn’t have a problem with immigration. Most of us don’t. We’ve got a problem will illegal alien invaders coming here to rape, murder and pillage.

From article-
On Sept. 23, the morning after the pope lands in Washington on a flight from Cuba, thousands of Latinos — 50,000 or more, by some estimates — will walk, take the bus or ride the Metro to the White House following special SUNRISE MASSES...

Sun worshippers having a Holy time on a solar autumnal equinox..

No wonder there is an obelisk and pregnant dome at the Vatican and also in DC- ancient satanic/occult sun worship symbols..

Two occultict satanic cities, Rome and DC, sharing a moment.

Right in plain sight..

For eyes to see. Or not.

They are not “immigrants.” They are criminal invaders.

“...the morning after the Pope lands in Washington on a flight from Cuba...” Well, that figures. A communist flying to America from a communist country.

“...11 million undocumented people living in the United States in the shadows.” It’s more like 40 million criminal illegal aliens. And they sure as hell are not in the “shadows.” They’re in our faces everyday.

As for the pope, I hope he butts out of our country’s affairs. I won’t hold my breath.

Eleven million my arse. The commie 'RATS have been spewing that number since the 60s. If the bozos in their WAPO offices would just get out sometime, they'd find no illegal alien invaders are "in the shadows." They're all down at the welfare office.

None of the Pope’s business. Why don’t he invite them home to South America or to the Vatican. I am a Catholic but draw the line on him attacking the U.S. Where is a pic of him and I will rip it in half and feed to my shredder.

All this would be unthinkable if the government were constrained by a hard currency.

As it stands now, we have had 2 generations of absolutely unrestrained money, unlimited debt, centrally planned money-supply and interest rates.

With this power, progressive left and government can maintain 1000 social engineering schemes.

Fine, let the Pope handle the immigration problem by taking them all in at the Vatican, and hey how about if they have the Pope address Mexico’s actual immigration policies versus Trumps wish list.

Wasn’t the previous guy supposed to be the last Pope?

He was. This guy is an Argentinian politician and environmentalist who does "high profile meetings" with foreign invaders instead of going to THEIR government and telling THEIR government to take care of THEIR own people.

If not, send her home.
