FOX LAKE, Ill. -- Authorities involved in a manhunt after Tuesday's shooting death of a police officer in Lake County, Illinois, have one suspect in custody, Illinois State Police Sgt. Matt Boerwinkle said Tuesday afternoon.

You guys with the local NBC, CBS, ABC, WGN, CNN cr@p curiosity and references are killing me! Who gives a rats-@sss what the lamestream media thinks or says? Quit giving them instant legitimacy and credence. They're idiots who don't deserve any of it, especially from FReepers who should know better. I turned them dopes in Chicago and on cable off years ago, and would rather not here anything they have to say at FR, especially represented as if they are legitimate and newsworthy. They are NOT!

I understand, and certainly commiserate. Just can't stand any legitimacy being thrown to those media jerks. They couldn't correctly explain the inside of a ping pong ball if they tried. My suggestion would be (if you are in that area, I know it well because I spent a lot of time in Fox Lake) to check on your loaded gun, lock the doors, set the alarm, and wait for legitimate news sources to report on what actually happened. You'll be a lot better off! And keep a healthy skepticism about the mainstream outlets. They can't be trusted.
