I have a confession to make-I voted for JFK but I’ve been properly penitent ever since. (He was considered a god in Boston)

I was 15 years old in the 1960 election, our high school had a mock election, I voted for Nixon, Kennedy won by one vote. Real close to the real election figures.

I believe J.F.K. would be appalled by today’s democratic party and appalled by what his own brother Ted turned into.

Well as my Dad (RIP) the prototypical blue collar Irish-Catholic used to say “a Kennedy is somebody who wants to give your money to the poor and get credit for doing it”.
