Same pickle here almost.
Cleared some brush for hay field (40 acres).
Feds found out about it thru their sats comparing old data to new and wanted to know where my permits were.
I pretty much told them to pound sand and where to put their permits.
Have not heard back from them, YET.......but expect to.
I was just about to ask, since when do you need a permit to clear brush in Texas?
Then I googled around a bit and found this:
