What is it about the Republican party that wants to phase itself out of existence?

Mitt was and will no longer be. He is a tried and dried out prune of a candidate. Why bring him back?

The GOP is already a circus of candidate clowns. They have the 3-ring circus up and running . It looks bad. It's like a “who can we get” or Monty Hall's “Let's Make a Deal”. Model Sheryl Merril is standing on stage and Monty is asking us, “What's behind Republican Candidate Door # 35”?

Too many candidates, too many internal brawls, too many clowns. Now that all 35 clowns are running around at center stage they want to bring in BOZO the clown to add further, devastating injury to the GOP’s chances with the American people in 2016.
When will it stop??

When Shrilliary takes the stage, front and center we are doomed? The Hindenburg is crashing and burning in front of our eyes.

They’d just ‘deem’ the crow to be Lobster anyway. True believers are like that.

Because ‘Lesser evil/No matter what” is still the asinine mindset of plenty on the right. And they want the guy elected so they can have their revenge for being so vastly wrong about the last election.

Yes, they are that self centered and contemptuous of America.

“Too many candidates, too many internal brawls, too many clowns.”

Unpossible! I was assured by FR’s liberals that all these GOP candidates was a great idea and would strengthen our chances. Because, of course, brusing primary catfights never, ever give liberals more ammo to shoot back at us.

Mitt Romney is a loser.

Hillary will have him for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The GOP generals are looking to refight the last war with the same guy who was beaten soundly by Obama.

Yeah, let’s bring Mittens back - he makes Harold Stassen look good.

No thanks.

I’d prefer somebody who’ll kick ass and take names.

Well just over a month ago, one of them said people that refused to vote for Romney should be shot. On FR. The post may still be there.

Sorry, Mitt had his chance. I think he would have done better in 2008 than 2012, but it is what it is.

And then, to add insult to injury, after he lost in 2012, stories came out about how he never really wanted to be President—even though he ran twice. Yeah, sure.

Why not a tridumpirate of Romney/Graham/Jeb!
That would produce a combined poling power of about 2.5%

“They believe he could dispel the chaos that has reigned over the Republican field for months.”

I guess I’m missing the chaos. It looks to me that the Republicans are quickly unifying on a single candidate, rather than having an expensive, divisive, primary season.

Isn’t that what the donors wanted?

That would be the best thing to happen for those of us who want to save America. Willard would split the RINO vote. The GOPe would come up snake eyes again only this time we would not be sitting in their sinking boat with them.
