Why don’t they just call it the “No naming after old Democrats” bill?

First Amendment?

What’s that?

We don’t do First Amendment here. It’s racist, sexist and homophobic.

Meanwhile the state is drying up and they are dumping back balls in their reservoirs. Liberals have defective brains.

Does California have many landmarks named after Confederate soldiers?

How about adding memberships in the Klan or Communist Party to that list?

Margaret Sanger sided with the Klan and Democrats in California recently (within the last decade) lifted the prohibition on Communists teaching and knowingly subverting the education system in California.

>>Other than George Patton, grandson and grandnephew of Confederate officers.

People moving there after the war is not really a connection.

As if renaming all these streets and buildings actually does something to get black kids into productive work, out of criminal behavior patterns, re-forms the broken family, teaches them the academics the public schools didn’t ...

I’m sure glad California has gotten all their little problems solved so that they can now go after the big problem of the thousands upon thousands of California schools, and parks that are being named after Confederates.

Really, is that a big problem in California? I suspect not, but they don’t seem to be able to do anything about any real problems, so may as well try to score points with the democrat base.

what is the demographics of the students?

The school is located near the traffic circle in LB, (PCH and Redondo are the closest major cross streets). That area is very mixed: Black, Asian, Hispanic and White. I don't know the percentages, but I would guess not one group dominates the mix.

Okay, that was a long time ago. I am talking in the past century?

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think the schools mentioned were there a hundred years ago.

I would even suggest that the elementary schools weren't there (or named) 20 years ago.

That’s what the ban all Confederate memory crowd would have everyone believe.
