Rick Perry’s Woes Continue as Iowa Staff Is Cut to One Person

Former Gov. Rick Perry’s campaign continues to retrench.
The Republican from Texas has whittled his staff in Iowa to one paid operative amid continuing fund-raising struggles, a spokeswoman for Mr. Perry confirmed.
Mr. Perry led in the polls for a stretch during his first presidential bid four years ago. He spent significant time boning up on foreign policy and getting himself in physical shape for the grinds of the campaign trail.
However, he has failed to generate excitement among voters in a crowded and more competitive Republican field. A Monmouth University poll on Monday showed Mr. Perry with support of 1 percent of likely Republican caucusgoers in Iowa.

At least in Texas they have...
1) No state income tax.
3) Right to work.
3) Tort reform.
4) Pro-life laws
5) Respect for the 2nd Amendment
6) Secured borders-—not perfect but at least they try.
7) Enforced death penalty
8) Drill baby drill
9) Part time state legislature
10) Pro-business and business welcoming state government.
Texas has become the template for modern workable American conservatism. I will take that record any day of the week over DT’s bluster and bombast not to mention his pandering of the Clintons.

He has only been governor of the world’s 13th largest economy for the last dozen years or so.
I live in the People’s Republic of CA, and Texas under Gov. Perry has been attracting jobs and businesses out of here to his state like a magnet.
True, Perry isn’t responsible for all of these policies but he does support them all and is a big cheerleader for all f them.
