Iowa has gone for a social conservative consistently, Huckabee and Santorum in the last polls. They will never go for Trump. Cruz would have a chance but he seems to not be focusing his campaign there.

Trump cannot control global trade. The impact of “trade deals” would be miniscule, unless he decides to erect a bunch of tariffs, which would throw our economy into chaos and probably hurt more people’s pocketbooks than it helped.

Immigration is one thing the president has enormous power on because most of the fixes can be made by enforcing existing law. And booting out the illegals would have enormously good effects on our economy, freeing up jobs for Americans and helping the budget by cutting off their entitlements.

In July, Walker 22 Trump 13 Carson 8 Cruz 7 Bush 7 Fiorina 3
now - Trump 23, Carson 23, Fiorina 10, Cruz 9, Walker 7, Bush 5
Change - Carson +15, Trump +10, Walker -15 Fiorina +7, Bush -2, Cruz +2.

If you look at the trend, both Trump, Carson, Fiorina are all gaining If you add the top four, that is 65% - nearly 2/3 anti-establishment...

It’s not our country’s job to help support the families of any of the 6 billion world population who choose to jump our border fence and put their tin cup out. Encouraging them is a recipe for economic disaster and reducing America to third world status.

Trump can control trade. Reagan did.

There are provisions in the WTO agreements that allow the imposition of import tariffs if you run chronic trade deficits. There are apparently targeted provisions if one country is a currency manipultor. We've not taken advantage of that, because we've got a bunch of gloablists in leadership who think that developing the third world by deindustrializing America is a good thing.

You will get a DC outsider as the GOP nominee.

One candidate alone won’t achieve reforming the party and then the government. Plus there are Senate, governor, etc. races you should consider.

The more assets the better. Things will shift around six months out, then solidify around January.

If you can’t take this, then take a nap until January.

Isn’t it 23 Trump and 18 Carson and because it’s within the margin of error they are saying it’s a tie? Notice no numbers are given here. Of course it can be plus or minus 5 points either way but they are only saying the way that advantages Carson, not Trump. I call more MSM fraud. It smells rotten in Denmark. Fox was saying a tie without giving numbers too; that makes me all the more suspicions as they are always portraying Trump in the worst light possible.

The Des Moines Register poll had Carson at 18% yesterday. This is the Monmouth poll of 405 participants with 20% undecided.

Slowly but surely black conservatives who are politicaly aware to such machinations are comming forth accepting the reality that Obama created this hyphenation of Americans using race for his own political purposes. Which I’ve been posting here in FR’s for years was employed as a political tactic to defer any constitutional questioning action of the 1st branch by the 2nd branch of government.

Here is what they’re saying

The sad part is we do have a black candidate now in second place in current polling running for POTUS who has yet to speakout on this matter. Until he will he does not deserve consideration to be our POTUS.

Carson has absolutely NOTHING to recommend him to be president. He is a good man, but his utter lack of political background, makes him even less prepared to be president than wee barry.

He has less knowledge of what it takes, than any other candidate. He's never run for anything, has never been vetted, may have all kinds of things in his "closet", and we don't know who is backing him/will be pulling his strings.

Blacks won't vote for him, he has already made astoundingly bad gaffes, and we've already suffered through 7 years of an amateur; but one who has more political acumen than he has. He'd better NOT be the nominee !

Dr Carson will never be able as President to clean out the system that King Obama had created. He is too soft and does not have the fire that Trump has. The voters better get up to speed in their thinking. We need a bull in the White House or nothing will change.

“If you can’t take this, then take a nap until January.”

I said I don’t buy it not that I can’t take it. There is no way Ben Carson is polling higher or even with Trump. This is one poll.

Polling is going to move around somewhat and I even see the numbers possibly tightening between the top 3-4 as others drop out. Or it could be that as others pull out Trump gets the lion’s share of that support and even widens his lead.

Several other polls show Trump with a solid lead in Iowa and just about everywhere else.

Monmouth sampling and reporting 10% to Fiorina makes their poll suspected as not generalizable. All other polls have her at about half that.

Trump is also very popular with youth. So I am skeptical on Monmouth’s results if it showed Fiorina most popular with youth.

I’m satisfied with what’s happening months before the first caucuses and primaries considering a widespread reform of the GOP needs to happen.

It takes more than one candidate to accomplish that.

I am so happy to see Dr. Carson doing so well. Hoping he will be the nominee and then we will have a chance.

Are you kidding. Carson is too soft and intellectual which is not what we need. We need someone that is strong and takes no shi!. Trump is the only one that can get the job done and fast.

For me, immigration is the main show.

I don’t “get” the Carson thing at all.

I highly doubt those polling above 1% are going to drop out anytime soon.

Best to live with short term poll gyrations and not knee-jerk speculate. It’s all good news when you have the top three DC outsiders in these early polls, especially Carson.

Carson is a great man but he’s not presidential. He would be eaten alive if he were to accidentally win the nomination. He’s also squishy on some things.

It appears there are two polls? A new Monmouth poll. So one says 23-15 and one says 23-23. One of them therefore is cooking the books. They didn’t want to make it as obvious as it looks, so the pollsters conveniently made it a tie. What will they do when Carson’s numbers go back down. Cook the books some more? I cry foul.
