The author is a healthcare consultant....and that qualifies him to analyze ethnic voting? The stats he uses are only as good as the infamous exit polls and we all know how unreliable those have been.
Kudos to those who rightly point out that it has been conservative voters staying home on the couch rather than getting out to vote for the numerous losing GOPe-nominated candidates; nothing more.
I thought we had that mastered.
So which GOP candidate is getting the highest percentage of the Hispanic vote?
Rubbish.
The poor Republican showing among whites is the problem. Reaching out to working class whites and standing up for their interests is the key to permanent majority.
It is said that each day 50,000 anchor babies reach voting age. This is why many in the GOP want to end birthright citizenship. But if you can successfully do that, does that apply only to future anchor babies, or does it also include existing anchor babies, and if not, then can the GOP deport all the existing anchor babies. The ability to deport existing anchor babies depends on if the GOP can deny due process
These people don’t know or don’t want to admit the magnitude of voter fraud in the last two presidential elections. People took a lot of videos of it going on during the last two pres. elections.
Buses of Somalis being taken voting station to voting station. Voting machines changing votes to Democrats even if the American had voted Republican. Even after the machines were realized and reported, Dems left them in place and did not repair them. Black thugs kicking Republican observers out of stations so they could cheat. Recounts until suddenly a bunch of lost boxes of Democrat voters show up. Dems going into nursing home and mental institutions to get absentee votes signed by the feeble or to busing them to polling places. In some cities more votes were counted than people who lived there. We have citizen poll watcher, Dems have lawyers.
So these stupid consultants make up numbers of “hispanic voters” what they are too corrupt and chicken to take on: Democrat machine cheating, nation wide. Wouldn’t want to look like “poor losers” as Babs Bush said. Also some of the GOP consultants have be infiltrators to be so worng so consistently.
I sick of these corrupt elected leaders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Might want to check that number. 50,000 per day is over 18 million per year. Don’t sound even close to right.
Hispanics??
Ha!
I’m a half breed Mojave, and I’M stumping for Trump!
But they aren’t really babies...they are just anchor tissue.
The point being that population growth of Hispanics in the US is more attributable to birth than immigration.
So if you could shut down all illegal immigration the Hispanic population will continue to grow and if you shut down all Hispanic immigration the Hispanic population will continue to grow.
As Ann Coulter has pointed out repeatedly, Romney could have gotten 71 percent of the Hispanic vote and he still would have lost. But if he’d gotten just 4 percentage points more of the white vote, he’d be president today.
This is total horse hockey. If we can just get Donald nominated he will bring out the base, take the indies and also the disaffected Dems. The Hispanics seem to like him more than the MSM wants to admit.
I'm willing to bet Trump more than makes up for any potential loss of Hispanic vote by galvanizing the millions of GOP voters that deserted the polls for Mittens, who want to see an end to the illegal alien invasion that the establishment supports.
This Hispanic vote has historically tracked with the white vote, but shifted about 20 points to the D side. When the white vote for the GOP drops, the Hispanic votes drops too. The author is looking at these numbers wrong.
Nobody has to tell the GOP how to lose a winnable election, they have it down in spades.
Easy. Nominate another execrable RINO Establishment squish. How to win ? Run a winner like Trump.
Baloney about the hispanic. All any candidate EVER has to do is increase the number of white people voting for them.
Mr. Catron should brush up on his logical fallacies. His argument is a shining example of ‘post hoc ergo propter hoc’ or ‘after this then because of this’.
