I just ran this by a family member with some experience and heard it doesn’t add up.

Yeah, right. Thread gets posted here at 7:36 am (Eastern time) and you have time to reach out to a family member with ballroom seating experience to reply back here at 8:08 am - barely a half hour later.

Now that's something that doesn't quite add up!

Anyway, I have my own story to tell and it doesn't involve reaching out to family experts. My wife and I have two dining tables, a large one in the dining room and a smaller one in the kitchen nook. Normally we can seat 4 people in the kitchen nook with the regular chairs. But when we have company over and want to stay in the kitchen nook, we just swap out those chairs with the dining room chairs, which are smaller. So we can now fit six people in the kitchen nook. Same size table, just different size chairs. Even in the larger dining room, which seats 8, we can easily expand it to 12 by putting folding chairs in the corners.

As for the fire marshall thing, you are just making an assumption that it was rated for 200. Could be rated for 600 for all we know.

Now you’re just being silly, accusing me of making assumptions while you assume who’s close by me.

Some of the Trump supporters here are hair-afire, just like the people who succumbed to Obama frenzy in 2008. Really, listen to yourself. I made a point about a candidate for POTUS talking about his supposed problem-solving abilities w/r/t ballroom seating, and suddenly you go all maenad on me.

Have you nothing more to contribute to the discussion, or the day? I’m off to work so I won’t be available to nibble this to death any further. Have a blessed day, courtesy of God.
