The U.S. ambassador to the Vatican said that during Pope Francis’ visit to the United States next month, he expects the Pope will urge the U.S. to embrace its history of welcoming immigrants.

The U.S.A. needs to close it’s borders and allow zero immigration of any kind for the next 10-20 years .
Back to a moratorium . Forget whatever the Pope has to say .
Okay Pope....you open up Vatican City’s doors and have them living in YOUR place.....oh, and feed them, house the, educate their kids, free health care, free attorneys, and raise them up on pedestals.
We do have open doors to immigrants.

I come from a long Catholic backround, and I say to the Pope. “None of your business”.
We do welcome legal immigrants. Invaders, not so much.
Will Vatican City open itself to immigrants?
Will immigrant families be able to permanently camp out in Vatican parks? Perhaps they could build shelters, or even entire tent cities.
And certainly there are empty spaces in Vatican buildings (hallways, etc.). Will immigrant families be able to move into those spaces?
Or is this another case of ‘do as I say, not as I do’?
You mean the Pope wasn’t on the shores of the Med this weekend, to get busloads of refugees to move into their new apartments in Vatican City? I’m shocked!

Somebody please explain to this Communist Cavone that America has one of the most open immigration policies in history, then pack him back in his Popeplane and send him home to Vatican City. This is a walking, talking, destructor wrecking the Catholic Church and aiding Obama to threaten America.

This is ridiculous. We haven’t closed any doors to legal immigration.
Catholics, of which I was raised as/used to be, need to open their eyes to the sheer evil that sits in Rome. This man is leading the religious world straight into communist hell. And eventually, the real Hell.
Catholicism isn’t the issue/problem. The faith and tenets are fine. It’s communist and unbiblical leadership is.

He is getting close to 80 and I see him stepping down towards that time once he turns 80.
As a Catholic, I say, thanks but no thanks. We gladly welcome LEGAL immigrants when they add to and embrace our culture. Otherwise, no thank you. BTW, I think the Pope still needs to address the ongoing actions of the church to protect its homosexual predator clergy. The pope should focus on fixing the church and not trying to destroy America.
