Thank you for agreeing with me that that situation sounds like a way to seriously mess with a child’s mind.
This lawyer wants to change the law, so a parent who hasn’t bothered to go to court to legally adopt a child they are parenting, can legally get custody? I think the lawyer who said that means a casual date could seek custody is right. Sounds like homosexuals want to do away with parental authority, so they’ll have sexual access to minors.
Why this snide comment? It’s important to see where we are headed as a society, and this article very well illustrates the point.

Child custody battles are a pain as well. I am pretty sure the rediculous part is going with whatever relationship arrangement and expecting it to work. Well now they are going at each other in court. Seeing your parents go at each other doesn’t automatically condemn you. But it is potentially traumatic. I was one of those lucky children who didn’t see my parents get divorced when young or even as a teenager.
It’s as traumatic as divorce on steroids.
Children are mere accessories to these deviants. They used them to garner sympathy for their “marriage” legal battles and will now use them to redefine “parent” to their own bizarro-world purposes.
Seriously, it sounds like a Twilight Zone episode, one with a horror theme.
