Jorge Ramos being a legal immigrant is an assumption. I have yet to find anything documenting his 'path to citizenship'. He claims he is a citizen; however, does not elaborate on 'how' he became one. I know he entered California on a student visa in 1983, then in about a year began working as a 'hispanic' reporter/newsie, I am guessing he was employed illegally. If I had to bet on it, I would put my money on Jorge being an amnesty anointed citizen. He sure does not act like someone who worked hard to obtain citizenship, he does not cherishes like he cherishes citizenship and he does not act like he loves America so much so that he asks what he can do for America.

Jorge's focus seems to be on what America and Americans can do for him and his fellow Mexicans -all this not by polite request; but rather, by arrogant demand that he wants codified into law and imposed upon Americans by a big anti-American government.
