It was named for McKinley in 1896.
That name stuck for almost 80 years.
Then activists for anything that isn't White decided to confuse things and cause controversy.
The confusion and controversy has lasted 40 years.

And now the activists for anything that isn't White beleive that they should be declared the winners because we've had enough confusion and controversy.

We can’t have it named after a Republican. At least he didn’t name it Mt. Czolgosz after McKinley’s assassin.

It was named McKinley for political reasons. A ranger insisted on keeping the road to it named Denali.

I see nothing wrong with giving it back it’s real name. Only it gives Ubama a feather in his cap.
