Here is the situation. The country is already gone. A country without borders is not a country, period. The foreign invaders already enjoy more rights, privileges and benefits than US citizens. US citizens, many of them, work hard and pay taxes. Every year billions of those tax $ are gifted to foreign invaders, so as to encourage ever greater floods of invaders. While US citizen veterans are dying on VA waiting lists, foreigners get free medical care. While veterans die on public housing waiting lists, foreign invaders step to the front of the line. When drunken foreign invaders kill or maim US citizens, often they get off scott free by telling the judge drunk driving is a cultural tradition where they come from.
That is the barest tip of the iceberg. The country, as one candidate articulated, is going to (cover your ears) hell. If the US were a house, it would be on fire and in danger of burning to the ground. Right now parts of it can still be salvaged. But the window of time for reclaiming even some of what this country once was is closing. There is a fireman who would like to turn his monster hose lose on the blaze, and save as much of the house as he can.
But you Trump haters don’t want that. The fireman’s speech is too coarse. Better to let the house burn to cinders than let a man of unrefined speech train his water hoses on the blaze.

I think it’s ridiculous and unnecessary to call people who have real and understandable concerns about Trump...”haters”.... that makes people who do so look like extremists rather than Freepers who are interested in vetting these candidates....and understand that we ALL have a choice who we support ultimately.
The same rhetoric was used when Palin ran and people got their pants in a knot for anyone who wasn’t cheering Sarah on. We use to be able to vet these candidates....none are perfect by any means and there’s something bad to be said for each one as well as good......
But Trump is another matter all together....he has a fully Democratic/Progressive backgorund....and now claims conservative....he has to prove that and I don’t see the evidence he’s carried that mantel other than saying so.
So yes I will be very reserved regarding his potential as President at a time when our country is right on the edge and the idea of an unseasoned and fully bombastic individual taking the helm of this country who doesn’t seem to have any control of his mouth nor his habits.

I have come to agree with the bordermania types at this point on closing the border but in spite of single issue fanatics who seem to live, breathe and act only on their despising of Mexicans not because of those fanatics.

As to the Rump's language, my purpose was defending a fine Christian gentleman and actual conservative GeronL from the abuse he was getting unjustifiably here from those who ought to know better just because he does not worship The Rump. GeronL and I have, no doubt, differences on the details of our respective theologies but neither of us is into Rump worship.
The Donald wants to be elected? He would do well to do a bit more than read a few issues of conservative publications to learn how to pander to the base. I gave him credit for his immigration position paper and expressed interest in seeing similarly detailed position papers on a LOT of other conservative issues. If he wants my vote, even next November, his billions and his loud boorish mouth don't make him any more likely to get it. He will have to EARN it the old-fashioned way by inspiring confidence as neither Obozo nor Willard did in 2012.
Whatever you may imagine, I am open minded on the Rump but so far. he is showing NOTHING other than on immigration and that is not enough. Most actual conservatives become conservative by THINKING and not by becoming lemmings. I was a Reagan state chair when he challenged the airheaded Feckless Gerald Ford. Like all officeholders and less than most, Reagan made mistakes but I don't remember him attributing media questions from reporterettes to their menstrual cycles much less in public.
If you really, really, really want to see The Donald sworn in as POTUS, hs mouth is his and your worst enemy. I never had reason to be embarrassed by Ronaldus Maximus, a true gentleman. I am sorry that you are jealous of the fabulous luxuries you imagine are enjoyed by Mexican immigrants but you will probably get over it once the border is closed and you have some chance to ponder abortion, "gay" everything, the state of gummint indoctrination in gummint skewels, RTKBA, the collapse of the US industrial base, tax favoritism for the plutocrats who bribe (by political "contributions") politicians for the immigration non-policy which you reasonably hate, the rebuilding of our Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, the extermination of ISIS and Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood and Al Fatah, and Palestinian Liberation Organization and the Iranians who are nuking up as you have anti-Mexican temper tantrums, and the rest of conservatism which you are comfortable ignoring.
