Well some pundits are calling it a phenomenon but I call it a revolution.

Numbers just don't reverse themselves like that in the space of a few months (or ever). Especially when the politician in question is totally known by the electorate.

So if numbers don't lie it must be those manipulating them. At this point, Trump seems a bit like Reagan in that he has the potential, should he win, to win big. Could you imagine if he ran a competitive race in the New York/New Jersey market ? At this point, Trump is running for President and most other Republicans are in the running for his VP.

It is, quite literally, unprecedented.

And that's only the beginning of what's to come.

And yet I still hear the likes of John Batchelor and George Will chiming in with their sneering condescension. They just don’t get it. The revenge of the Country Class is imminent and these ‘pedigreed’ snarks had better get used to it.

I think Dr. Carson is a fine man. He just isn’t tough enough for the job.

I tend to agree Catsrus.

I think they would make great henchmen in terms of IMPORTANT cabinet positions to help Trump get the ship of state turned around.

Trump is definitely an a$$ kicker or he wouldn't be where he's at. I trully believe we could TRUST TRUMP to "git 'er done"

I’ve been reading FR for years, only got on to post since Trump. Not necessarily to support him but to point out that some Freepers did not understand why he was appealing. It’s obvious now though that this is less of a problem. Presidential candidates have for decades now produced broad outlines of positions on every conceivable issue only to take office immediately throw it all away for mostly practical reasons. What really matters is, imho!- Does he or she believe in the basic notions of Western Civilization? Does he or she have the ability to resist external pressures from lobbyists and special interests? Does he or she support the Constitution as written? Can he or she win?

The rest is almost meaningless.

Carson, though he has a mild mannered stage presence, has a tyrannical streak.

He believes the government has the right to forcibly put foreign substances in your body.

Think about it.

You shouldn't have bothered. You don't get it.

America is going down the toilet...unless someone can reverse the process.

As a former NYer, I have followed Trump for over 35 years.

I might be wrong, he might become demoniacally possessed after being elected and have an entire personality change.

But in the meantime, he is serious about saving America.

I agree. He strikes me as an adult. I know he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but most of those end up in the psyche ward. He took his millions and turned them into billions, which means that he seldom slept in. I like Trump, and trust him as much as all the rest minus Cruz of course.

There was not the level of wealth Trump has now with his family when Trump was a kid.
Donald took much smaller monies and built enormous sums out of it.

He doesn't drink alcohol...never has. Never smoked pot.

Many years ago we were all teetotalers.

Let's get back there again. And kick some ass.

He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth...because his dad was cheap.

Because Trump was trouble, his parent sent him to New York Military Academy to give him discipline. It did.

Read his history.

Thanks for reiterating that. Lots of folks have the impression that Trump was born into the Rockefeller lifestyle. He wasn’t. His dad made him/them work for whatever they did get. Trump even borrowed money, to do some of his early deals.

Nor was he born into a politically astute family, like the Bush’s or Kennedy’s, that offer automatic entrance into the *big club* of lobbyist jobs/connections, etc.

He secured his own “art of the deals”, the old-fashioned way.
