All the Western democracies are rattled, and their politics are scrambled by nervous and unhappy publics. The United States is not immune, but the unique culture of American exceptionalism, which Obama never embraced, is alive and well in many hearts. If there is anything most Americans hate more than war, it is seeing the country

"The pendulum doesn’t stop in the middle."

After all this time has elapsed being forced left, the political pendulum is bound to be mighty unforgiving when next it swings right.

I am just finishing the video of Trump in Nashville. He’s telling stories and I realize that is his pitch, he wants people to get to know him, to like him. It is paying off.

I was listening to a state GOP politician on the radio last night and he was saying that he has never seen anything like this. People are coming up to him and saying that they aren’t even registered to vote, but that they are going to register to vote for Trump.

funny that no matter how many times that pendulum swings, it never goes in the direction of genuine liberty

The rats tout the middleclass jargon over and over while pulling them down and preventing them from earning a living and moving the country forward

Thanks Mike for Nothing, you voted for Obama so your advice is really worthless, you continue to spew garbage, after you talk about the obvious you neglect the fact that this guy has blood on his hands of dead police officers in this country with his RACIST diatribes.I know it’s obvious why you don’t want to talk about how this guy has poisoned race relations to a point I have not seen in my lifetime.
The same democrats have succeeded in bringing the country to the brink of chaos, and that was Obama’s goal, so the only person who was right about Obama was the constactly chastised Rush Limbaugh when he said he hopes he fails, but he hasn’t and so the guy you voted for has succeeded beyond his dreams,so I guess you will next be telling us to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Or probably you also will be warning us not to vote for Donald Trump because he is crazy, well if we do its because of asshats like you who have driven us crazy.
At least Trump calls what the low life’s are right to their face

I posted this on some Trump threads yesterday

I was chatting with a black gentleman who is a regular at a Republican breakfast I go to, and he offered a comment that bears on this (Dem crossover votes). He has lots of family in NY and Chicago, and of course they’re almost all Democrats. He says several of them have already said they would vote for Trump!

There’s something big happening here, folks.

If Trump should get credit for anything, it should be for his cold, hard, slap of reality in the face of the Elites who have attempted to systematize federal politics into a "heads, I win: tails, you lose" proposition.

Other pollsters made similar comments, but a closer look shows an explanation. I call it the Pendulum Factor.

No, the Pendulum Factor does not explain Trump's appeal. There probably is some PF, but this guy misses it like all the rest.

It's the Uniparty factor, something at least half the electorate has been aware of for at least a couple of decades. Forget what anyone thinks of Perot today. The same factors which put Perot in a position to will before he sabotaged his own campaign are mostly the same factors that have vaulted Trump into the lead.

Americans are tired of seeing US sovereignty frittered away in the interest of transnational corporations and other self-interested open borders advocates and phony free traders. And they get those things from both parties, not to mention beyond irresponsible deficit spending used to prop up the failures of those policies.

You know what, I do not believe The Donald needs them.

He is doing outstanding.

Those that are going to vote for him are already there and I do not believe the “talk shows” are going to sway anyone.

He will pick up some of the drop outs.

Interviews like the one with Sarah was great. Probably one of his best. He look like he was really relaxed and with a friend.

I also watched Cruz’s interview with Sarah. Was also really good. No gotcha questions, just substance.

He has admitted that he has a bad case of Buyer's Remorse (also, I'm not sure he voted for obama the second time around).

Same thing that got Hussein elected. People registered to vote only because he was half black.
