Not all. Many are on payrolls (fake ss numbers) and do pay taxes.
But since they are illegal to begin with it makes no difference to me.
There is a huge underground cash services industry going on in this country. Don't know if it's all illegals. Some may be citizens trying to stay away from Obamacare and money sapping fees and regulations. I know I've been offered services "cash only" for auto body repairs, painting, tree removal, trash removal and deck building. I'm not seeking these out, just asking friends who they would recommend and then get a call. Imagine what I could find if I sought it out. Truth is the one bid I asked for cash so I didn't have to file on my insurance was about 25% of the dealership price. People want to do the right thing but are in and impossible situation when the price difference is that significant.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they do. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those criminal employers withhold money from them which is supposed to SS and income tax and put it in their own pocket instead turning it in as they are supposed to.
