Why should we be surprised at how these events have unfolded? When I was a kid, whining all the time was not acceptable. Neither was always being offended by something someone said. I am certain that everyone on FR can claim that they were offended almost every day by something that another person said - maybe a major offensive comment or a minor one. Unless one lives like a hermit, that is what happens when living in any village, city or country. Grow up.
