Sure looks Presidential in that picture!
Proof? The most researched estimate of his wealth put it at $150-$250 million. He sued the author and lost in court. He admitted in court depositions that he exaggerates his wealth and that he bases his net worth on, "how he feels." His word is not reliable proof. Any way you stack it, he severely under-performed with the money he was given in the early 70's. He didn't even keep up with inflation.
But if you believe the Forbes numbers, how do you explain Trump saying he has $10 billion? Even his own bank(Deutschebank), put their estimate at $788 million.
Bloomberg says 2.9 billion...Forbes 4 billion ...At this point what difference does it make ? lol ...He turned 20 or so million into at least 2.9 BILLION .
“Trump inherited $200 million from his daddy. How many street fighters do that?”
Trump’s father did not die until he was 90. Trump had already made a bigger fortune than his fathers. Trump’s father, Fred Trump, left an inheritance of between 250 and 400 million to be split between four children.
At the Time of Fred Trump’s death, Donald Trump had accumulated 2.4 billion.

Trump took over in the early 70’s, and he was not worth $2.4 billion when his father died. That’s what he claimed.
That alone would disqualify him from being president.
Freepers are arguing over how much money Trump has.
Why is this so important?
Trump lives a very lavish lifestyle, flies around in his own fleet of planes and helicopters, has penthouse apartments with lots of gold plate, wears expensive suits and has beautiful wives.
Whether he has $800 million or $8 billion is simply semantics. Also, he had to file all his papers to run for president so if you are really interested in how much money he has, I guess you could obtain a FOIL and sift through all of that.
Trump’s financial statements are already public. Much of his wealth is in intangibles that are difficult to measure.
No matter what, he is very successful and very wealthy.
I think he said that his accountants said that he made around $500.000.000 a year.
If so, that’s around $951.26 a minute (based on 365 day year)
If one perused this article for only five minutes, then Trump would have made close to $5,000 in that time frame.
I’d say he does pretty good.
STE=Q
Paul Fussel, who was one of the Buckley/Gore supereducated mid-Atlantic types, claimed in his book Class that America did indeed have classes, which he proceeded to describe. In his telling, the "classes" were more like lifestyles. He personally aspired to die an "X" class member, an antinomian libertarian intellectual, free of the prejudices of his natal snobfest and the pretensions of the "high proles" (nouveaux riches still stamped with prole tastes and prole underwear) all alike.
Fussel might assign Trump to the "high proles", due to his love of flash and publicity and spectacularly built boats and women. A real upper-class type ("top-out-of-sight", because their houses can seldom be seen from the nearest public road) would incline toward 120-year-old wooden schooners, anoymously junky-looking cars, and the layered look.
Tee hee! Did you get a manly tingle when you made such a daring comment?
Jealous, are we?
Actually, if there are any blustering wimps around, you would fit the description perfectly. Why don’t you calm down?
Strata of lifestyle isn’t the same as classes or caste systems.
The only numbers you need to concern yourself with are the numbers put out by Trump’s accounting firm which operates under fairly strict regulation. Certified Public Accountants are required to report accurately.
Of course you as a well we don’t really know who you are can feel free to spout any inaccurate blather that suits your mood. LOL!
You post interesting articles, please continue. I beg you, however,to refrain from commenting on Trump threads. I am merrily reading away and then comes one of your stinkers... Ruins the whole experience.
Don’t you realize you sound like and Obama supporter in 2008? “We believe in Hope and Change and anyone who vets or criticizes our candidate is a racist.” Why shouldn’t conservative be allowed to vet a candidate, especially one with a liberal track record.
