I knew this “story” had to have another accounting as to what transpired. But even if it didn’t, I’d still be for giving this hero a pass. That’s right. His history of uprightness, leadership and service entitles him to be respected at 86. It’s a shame, in my opinion, that some good folks did not want more than one side before jumping to conclusions.
