Aggression is a symptom of dementia. If hes in his 80s and this is a change in his normal behavior it should be looked into. Agree w you and BL, (Knowing nothing more than what's in the article) this sounds like an age thing. Compassion and understanding is called for, absent other "issues".

I agree also. I am going to give a man who gave so much in service to his country the benefit of a doubt. As far as I’m concerned, he went to the wall for me and I think a little forbearance for him when he has reached the age of 80 is the least I can to repay him.
