Regarding the denying Christ, there are a lot of quotes from him on the subject, but the money quote is when he said that he does not think he needs Christs forgiveness. He doesnt imply it. He says it. That is textbook denial of Christ.
Might be “textbook” in your mind, but not in mine. I have known more than one person who did not wear his belief on his sleeve, but in practice was an outstanding “Christian” in every way. I have also known “Christians” who lie, cheat, and are so selfish they think only of themselves. Don’t you find it strange that of the thousands of people who have worked with and for Trump, you don’t see them in the headlines decrying his inhumanity to man?
By the way, Peter “denied Christ” three times before the cock crowed. And yet Christ made him the foundation of the Church. .....and then there was Doubting Thomas........

The definition of a Christian is someone who acknowledges that he is a sinner and knows the only road to eternal life with his creator is to repent and accept the blood of Christ as atonement for your sin. A person that says what Trump said about this specific issue is the exact opposite. By his own words he has said he is not a Christian. He may be a great guy. He may be a very good person - compared to most people. But compared to the word of God and God’s plan for mankind, he has denied Christ.
I’m not judging the man. Heck, he may be a better person than me. I’m simply saying that his own words make him a person that has not accepted Jesus as his personal savior. He has not yet figured out that he even needs a savior. He may, some day. I hope he does.
