In fairness, Trump did course-correct himself and say that PP needs to be defunded/gone. Abortion is my #1 issue. If a candidate is on the wrong side of protecting the unborn, there's no way I can vote for them. So I was glad to hear Trump say PP needed to be gone.
Like so many of you, I don't have cable/satellite TV so I don't have access to alot of the things he says unless it's published here (FR) or elswhere on the internet and even then there's just so much out there it's hard to keep up.
True, but in fairness to reality - it was still a pretty shocking liberal reflex. Some consultant (yes, he has some) whispered in his ear 'uh, Mr. Trump, YOUR followers are not going to go for that.'
Once he's got, say, the nomination...or the Oval...do you think he's going to be talked out of his initial gut reaction? NOT LIKELY. His initial gut reaction is almost always left.
