A few years ago, I did a retrospective of American composer Leroy Anderson and the music he wrote for Arthur Fiedler and the Boson Pops during the Thirties, Forties and early Fifties. This is one of his most inspired.

I love Leroy Anderson! “The Trumpeters’ Lullaby used to make me cry- that and The First Day of Spring. IMHO, he was terrific!
