Great, this means you go in the military. You tell the doctor that you are wanna get the sex change surgery. Judging form Bruce Jenner it has to take a year or more.
During that whole time you are on light duty or medical leave.
And the taxpayer pays every dime for this serviceman, or serviceit. Then they walk free with an honorable discharge.
Sick sick sick.
Once you accept “transgenders” as soldiers, the rest follows.

Mental illness should result in permanent leave from the military, not accommodation.

The inmates are running the asylum. Homosexuality is an extreme form of mental illness. Leftwing politicos have infiltrated the media and government to pretend that this is not the case, but it is. Until the politicos, this was known by generations of mental health professionals to be the mental illness that it is. Getting the illness removed from the list of illnesses was a political, not a medical coup. Do a poll of Americans and you’ll find that people don’t want their country defended by people who cannot even discipline themselves or their obsessions.
