Earnest: Grabbing guns ... would not prevent all gun violence ... would not have prevented this crime ... but would prevent other shooting deaths around the country every day!

And dealing with insane gay black men acting out hits just a little too close to home for any comment from any spox.

Even if the lunatic in question had no firearm — that just means the world would have been subjected to video of the reporter being slashed or hacked to death.

Why is the story even about guns? You have a crazy lunatic who, egged on by the relentless media message that America oppresses blacks and gays, believed that he was horribly aggrieved to the point where he killed his co-workers. He could have killed that lady with a knife. Or an illegal gun. The issue is lunatics who are told over and over again that the Man is oppressing them.

Is it my imagination, or have the tone and actions of the WH softened somewhat since the poll re: Obama’s re-electability?
Maybe a tiny bit of his natural arrogance has been reduced by the knowledge the country does not want him for a 3rd term?

She never saw it coming. That look of surprise, hurt, and fear. My heart goes out. I wish the bastard had survived his capture. A death sentence would have been better closure. Only someone with a great deal of reactive training could have responded differently. It's time we all trained up. The Obama administration has empowered the mentally ill. They are now a protected class of citizen, and we are suffering for it.

Politicians aren’t concerned about ‘the little people’.
They’re using these incidents to push for their real agenda.
They are afraid of the populace rising up against themselves.
