It seems unfathomable that anyone as forthright and outspoken as Trump could run as a Democrat.

Really? Unfathomable? How so? Trump has been a democrat and has supported democrat values most of his life.

Most of us were not born Conservative. I was a middle of the road, Truman Democrat, in Junior High School. Fortunately, I woke up in the ninth & tenth grades, and became a Harry Byrd (the most Conservative man in the Senate in the era) Democrat; and then became a Republican in 1964, when other Conservative Democrats came over to support Barry Goldwater.

But my point is not that I have been a Conservative for over sixty years. It is that there is a point in each of us, who become active in the fight, when we wake up. It is ridiculous that some folk want to deny the "Donald" the right to wake up!

He is a proud man; do you really believe that he is faking "waking up"; that he wants to sacrifice his reputation as a great "doer," with a discrediting fake, that would later destroy his image from a lifetime of achievement?
