Perhaps. But US Millennials have one overriding concern: safety, and there is nothing safe about riding a rocket, let alone traveling through space in a tin can bound for Mars.
Going to Mars is not on their list, bucket or otherwise. Maybe the Chinese or Russian Millennials will look at things differently.
You could be right. They’ve been raised in a bubble for sure, and many of them are cocky as hell.
Not going to write them off though. Their mentors will be/are vets and here’s hoping they’ll have a gutsy president to show them how to stand up for themselves.
