The waterline dimensions would say yes.....flight deck would overhang the lock walls so it would have some transit restrictions. Passing through Culebra would be touchy as well.
Since we base them on both coasts, I would say it would have to be a very pressing need for us to send a Nimitz through Panama.
A smart administration would have offered Panama about $500 mill to design it to make sure that our CVNs could easily transit the canal.
