Hiya, beachy....the eyes are doing well together. 2 more weeks before final eval. Right now it looks like just reading glasses. Worst problem....I can’t read my phone or text without reading glasses. LOL!

Mom is doing pretty well. She’s spending a little time on the computer, but complains every day about “weird” things happening when she tries to answer email. I need to see it before I can help. She still sees “people” every day, both in her room and wheelchair, and working in the back yard. A friend from work and I looked up “hallucinations in the elderly”. Found a very good culprit and my sister and I are using it. Doesn’t matter if she really has it....it has a name and she accepts it. I just tell her she knows that people really are not there, that she is in charge, and just tell them so, to go away. Charles Bonnet Syndrome. Happens to elderly folks who have macular degeneration, are hard of hearing, and Ahlzeimers and Dementia. I see no signs of the last two so don’t even mention them.
