A Kentucky clerk's office on Thursday again refused to issue a marriage license to a gay couple, in defiance of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage across the country two months ago.
Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis has refused to issue any marriage licenses, citing her Christian faith and constitutional right to religious freedom, since the landmark decision in June.
On Thursday morning, a deputy clerk in her office refused to issue a marriage license to William Smith Jr. and James Yates. It was their third attempt to get a license.
They said they will not give up.
"They just don't like gay people, they don't want us to get married," Yates said. "And they'd rather burn the earth and not let straight people in Rowan County get married either."

How in the world is that “burning the earth”? What a stupid and volatile thing to say.
If the Earth was being burnt, they would be the first to feel the fires.
I think this lady has decided to go the distance, and stay with her faith. If this means being sent to prison, then, so be it. Such measures would only bring her more public support. I think she’s ready for whatever happens.
Prison? Why not just fire her?
Marriage is the union of one man and one woman in holy matrimony. Go get your shack up license from someone else.

Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.

The homofacist will not settle for her being fired. They will want to make a example out of her when all they will end up doing is make her a hero....

Firing would make more sense. Some of today’s judges legislate from the bench and punish accordingly. For instance, the owners of that bakery who would not make a gay cake are being order to pay over one hundred thousand dollars to the lesbian couple. This is overkill, and it happens more and more. Hopefully, that will not occur here.

She is an ELECTED official. She would have to be either impeached or convicted of an offense.
If they try to take her into custody, I’d like to see tens of thousands of citizens circle her and dare them to try it.
Then, after pushing it to this point, I’d love to see hundreds of thousand descend on the home of the people causing this problem.

Nonsense. An emperor with no clothes might be tolerable. What we have here is the complete hijacking of American media, politics, education, culture and economics. What we have here is the very treason our forefathers warned against.

If the rest of the people in the Nation were like Kim Davis, that would not be the case. Will you stand with her when the time comes? Will you make an effort to stand with her, or just blog like a "True Patriot"?
