The thing that is coming through from Trump is the he is SINCERE. He isn’t glad-handing, and he isn’t patronizing.

He’s getting a message out above the din of the media, despite the absolute orgy of hate and ridicule.
My wife and I used to drive down to Greenville from the Tri-Cities in east Tennessee to pig out at the Wild Wing on Washington...then it was around the corner to the Marble Slab and a relaxing half-hour on an outside bench watching the south go by...

I liked the music at the end of the speech it was the most appropriate campaign tune.

Trump has a lifetime of successful experiences and the wisdom that goes with it. Cruz could be mentored for four years, to develop that depth and confidence. Whether it's in the Senate with Jeff Sessions or as VP, I trust Trump to decide what's the better path.

ThanksGgie. Got here late but heard enough to know that the crowd is full of a bunch of CRAZY enthusiastic people. MR T @ his best. Sounds like he is getting the A team together publicly. One VP to take care of the congress and the second to work with internal domestic issues. Wonder what the official name will be. He has already mentioned Gowdy for AG. And Palin and both Laffler and Forbes for financial advisers. Like those team members so far!

I heard some folks raising a concern about security in Mobile. I counted 5 or 6 serious looking men escorting him out.
The populace is reacting to the honesty, rather than the mealy mouthed overworn promises and platitudes that comprise the usual drivel of campaigns.
Favorites are favorites because one relates personally to them.
In Trump's case, people are relating to the gut level telling of how awful our current mess is, the continual parade of bad decisions, both foreign and domestic, the absolute infantile management of this once great country, and the spiral it is in.
To fix, must first identify, honestly.
