A fundamental responsibility of government is to protect the lives of all citizens. Absent that, a government has no moral authority.
Two questions, when was this letter started and where is it that DeSantis has made a statement of refusal?
Something smells about the assertions made by the author because it is focused on two individuals and makes a bunch of leaps in regard to any details. This sounds more to me like an early attempt to derail known conservative candidates.
