A strange paradox is emerging in America: Overall violent-crime rates are down, but active shooter events — in which a person is trying to kill multiple people in a populated area — appear to be on the rise, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation statistics.
Meanwhile, a just-released study finds that although the United States has just about 5 percent of the world's population, the country has 31 percent of the world's mass shooters. The reasons for these numbers are complex, researchers say, but the data suggest that the availability of guns, and perhaps the American obsession with fame, may be to blame.
The United States has more private gun ownership and more desire for fame than any other country in the world, said Adam Lankford, a criminal justice professor at the University of Alabama and author of the new research, presented Sunday (Aug. 23) at the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association.

There are plenty of “mass shootings” in third-world hellholes like Africa and countries in South America, but those people apparently don’t count.
The FBI defines mass murder as murdering four or more persons during an event with no "cooling-off period" between the murders.
Because we have a lot of guns, and a culture that celebrates grievance.

I just posted an article where a COWARDLY shooter shot dead 3 people and wounded 4 in a crowd of kids outside a boys and girls club, and a man In the crowd stepped forward and shot at the COWARD who was fleeing, and now the man who was protecting the crowd is under arrest for firing a firearm
COWARDS who commit mass shootings know damn well they are NOT going to run into armed citizens and these COWARDS ALWAYS take people completely off guard because they are too COWARDLY to face them when they are prepared
Keep taking guns away from law abiding citizens liberals, and you WILL see crimes like those increasing you IDIOTS
The two reporters shot to death and the person being interviewed is hardly a mass shooting.
It was more like a double homicide and an assault followed by an attempted suicide that should be labeled a hate crime.
However, liberals will look at the gun and blame the gun instead of the perp who engaged in the hate crime!

How about the mass stabbings like the one that also occurred today. What causes that? “Global Warming”?
A study made a few years ago by 2 Harvard professors, (I can't remember their names), found that although guns of any kind are illegal for Russian civilians except licensed hunters during hunting season the Russian murder rate is almost 4 times higher than ours.
Of course that study wasn't widely circulated since it flat out contradicts practically everything that America's gun grabbers claim to be true.

Dear Lord, please allow the Civil War to start in order for me to save my nation. We cannot co-exist with liberals and they really need to go. Kindly arm me with weapons and firearms that will make short work of these Godless heathens called liberals. Kicking them in the face and smashing their heads in with a baseball bat is not enough. If you wish for your religion to prosper, then liberals have to go. They don’t believe in You anyway, so give me the strength to destroy our enemies.
