Well I know or rather I read that Trump is huddling with Steve Forbes and Art Laffer to formulate his economic and tax policy paper. It doesn’t get any better than that. IMO.
agreed. And it will be nice to give the press something to feed on besides illegal immigration. A carefully crafted economic plan could seal the deal for Trump IMO.

Forbes and Laffer are flat income tax proponents, and while I agree that a flat income tax would be an improvement over our Marxist inspired progressive income tax, it is NOT the answer because it does not abolish the IRS.
The proper way to modernize the US tax code is to replace the income tax with the FairTax and abolish the IRS.
Hopefully, an articulate proponent of the FairTax will catch Trump’s attention and he’ll start pushing it.
