Two women have been arrested after they attacked each other as their flight arrived at JFK Airport from Jamaica, police said. Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo said it happened at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
He said the dispute started after a 61-year-old passenger at a window seat tried to climb over another woman, 52, as JetBlue Flight 960 approached the gate.The older woman used an eyebrow razor to slash a man who tried to intervene, officials said. The younger woman then used pepper spray on the knife-wielding passenger, Pentangelo said.

Umm, this was in incoming flight from a foreign country. I do not think that the TSA has any ‘authority’ in Jamaica.
Ditto that. I have many years experience as a city public school teacher, high school level. I'll consider breaking up a fight between two high school boys. They will often listen to commands.
But two girls? Nope, not unless the numbers are at least 3-1 in my favor.

My sister was doing her student teaching at a public school in Oakland CA. My sister is not a small lady, she played on the men's water polo team at Cal State Hayward. (Pre-title IX) She tried to break up a fight between two female students. She ended up with a broken pelvis, several lacerations, and several contusions, when both of the "girls" turned on her. She spent several days in the hospital, the girls were back at school the next day. She opted for 3rd grade in her actual career. Seems safer but you never know. I could go on and on about her experience with minorities in elementary school but then I would have to go get really drunk, because it is insane. The sad thing is that she is now just holding on to retirement and really does not care anymore. And she was a good teacher. And maybe she is still a good teacher but the spark is long gone.

Ummmm.. I fly internationally all the time and yes, you go through the same type of security in most places, especially American tourist spots like Jamaica.

I have no love for the TSA. However, you seemed to be knocking the TSA. I repeat, the TSA has no legal authority in Jamaica.
