Kelly used to soft peddling her liberal bias, seems like she’s full boar these days...

there is no reason to dance around it unless Cruz doesn’t think we should deport them. That troubles me.there is no reason to dance around it unless Cruz doesn’t think we should deport them. That troubles me.

I believe Cruz has exactly the right approach to the issue. First, secure the border. Second, eliminate incentives for illegal immigration. Those two steps will solve the problem of illegal immigration.

The next step, then, is to address the residual impact of illegal immigration. And the fact is that eliminating incentives -- jobs, public assistance, birthright citizenship, etc -- will cause many to self-deport, greatly reducing the residual problem. The number and circumstances of those left will determine the proper course of action from that point.

The proper response is: “If the parents want to take their kids with them I wouldn’t use the power of government to stop them. “Why would you want to interfere in their choice?”

Ted Cruz doesn’t need “experts” to tell him what to think or how to express himself. In his book, he expresses disapproval for candidates who allow advisors to do just that.

Per 8 U.S.C. Section 1401(e), if a person born in an outlying possession of the US is to be a citizen, at least one parent that is a citizen must have been a resident of the US for a period of at least one year at any time before the birth of the child.

If this is the case, then why can a foreigner spend a day and give birth to a US citizen?. Sec Clause (e).

Is the policy not thus implied that there must be at least a minimal connection to the US?

How can a day living here as an illegal be better than a citizen parent who has not lived here for one year?

Serious question.

Refusal to answer honestly? Refusal to allow Kelly to drive the narrative.

You value honesty, I see. Who is your candidate?

RE: “If the parents want to take their kids with them I wouldn’t use the power of government to stop them. “Why would you want to interfere in their choice?”

And what if Megyn responds with : “What if they don’t want to take their kids with them?”

They can leave them with friends or family or put them in foster care. It’s their choice not yours.

That is in fact the exact opposite of what he said. He has said repeatedly that he wants to the laws we already have on the books to be enforced AND he wants stronger laws passed that not only remove birth-right citizenship to the children of illegals but that also make it clear that there is a penalty for staying in this country illegally.

Pajama Boy must have wrote this trash. Ted Cruz attacking Megan Kelly? This low life said he agrees that Megan should not be a cheerleader for the Republicans, but I need to ask this moronic idiot this question:

IT IS FINE FOR THE NEWS PEOPLE TO CHEERLEAD LIBERALS???

He has only recently (post-Trump) said he wants the birthright law changed. There’s a video of him a few years ago saying he knew, with his legal expertise, that it was guaranteed in the 14th and would take an amendment to change. He said he thought we should focus on other priorities rather than pursue that.

And yes, he has indeed said he wants legalization, but not citizenship for our current illegals.

Post Trump saying this?

Despite his fiery rhetoric regarding Mexican immigrants, real estate mogul Donald Trump hasn’t said many specifics about what he’d do regarding the illegal immigrants already here. He has said this year that he would support a “merit-based” system for some illegal immigrants earning their right to stay, echoing comments he made in 2011.

Yes, surely this line of comment wouldn't be considered an attack by big, tough Megyn Kelly.

Seriously...reporter/ettes ask snarky questions all the time. No one is required to answer them at face value. And reporterettes, especially of the gotcha kind, aren't entitled to any special kind of consideration...especially if they push an agenda. Questioning their motivations or methods is also fair game.

As is then questioning the motives/methods of the candidate questioning the motives/methods of the reporterette. It's nothing more than that, and shouldn't be taken seriously at all.

So Rick Moran needs to put on his big girl panties and deal with it.

I agree. Why is it so hard to say that any hardship on a child citizen, be it a trip down south with his parents or a trip to the orphanage, is squarely on the shoulders of his law-breaking parents.

I think we can go a lot further than that. The wailing..."This is our home! We've bought furniture! Why are you punishing our children?"

What chutzpah!

Same with the politicians who left the gate open and noticed the cattle are in the grain fields..."You wouldn't punish the children for their parent's actions, would you? That's not who we are! Act of love!"

The disingenuousness of the entire debate infuriates me. These anchor babies lived however many years in a much nicer environment than they ever would have. They are not victims of anything but the poor choices of their parents...and frankly, that's true of children everywhere. Send their parents back; let the parents figure their way out of the mess they created. I can't think of a better deterrent.

Yeah, Trump’s got his own version of amnesty—unfortunately.

She wasn’t attacking. She was just asking a question, and Cruz should answer. But he’s found from Trump that the way to deal with things is to attack the questioner rather than answer the question.

Curiously enough, Obama does exactly the same thing.

Disagreement with a feminazi constitutes an "attack" in their twisted little minds. I'm waiting for her to be interviewed by some nag mag, wherein she will state that Trump or Cruz "raped her with their eyes" during the exchanges. I am really disgusted with her, and I predict she will go off the rails left wing about the time her looks start to go. Expect a tell-all book trashing"exposing" Fox News from her shortly before her transition to MSLSD or the like.
