A gunman killed a reporter and videographer for a CBS affiliate in Virginia in a shooting that was broadcast live Wednesday morning.
Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and cameraman for CBS Roanoke affiliate WDBJ-TV, died in the shooting, Parker's mother confirmed to CBS News.
WDBJ-TV reports that deputies from Franklin County and Bedford County were on the scene.
The shooting happened at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Virginia.

The media will not report that he was a psychotic homosexual. A couple of hours ago on The Five, they would not touch the story with a 10 foot pole when addressing did he have “mental problems” that could have caused him to snap. They read where he whinned about being a “gay black man”, but would dare link it to the crime. A few years ago, when this was a sane country, homosexuality was listed by the AMA as a “mental disorder”. The United States military would not condone the act and you would get kicked out for “conduct not conducive to good order and discipline”. Sodomy was crime in the United States and 50 states. Now homosexuals are passed off as being perfectly well-adjusted people with no mental issues whatsoever, when we all know that’s a bunch of BS! Facts are facts. Almost every time a mass killing happens it’s homosexual who hates himself who’s the perp. It’s about damn time the media quit ignoring the truth.
