It's time to release the hurricane tracking sharks because we're officially in the dreaded "cone of uncertainty" with Tropical Storm Erika, which is expected to arrive in our neck of the woods by Monday morning.
Most models predict that Erika could be a hurricane by the time it reaches our general area next week.
According to most tracks and predictions, Erika's cone covers all of South Florida, as she approaches the Leeward Islands tonight. Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Antigua, Barbuda and Anguilla are all under a Tropical Storm Warning.
The latest advisory has Erika with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and tropical storm force winds extending at 105 miles out from the center.
BTW, what happened to all the super hurricanes brought on by global warming? Didn’t Gore and his acolytes warn of hurripocalypse? That we would see 40-50 super hurricanes a year because of driving SUVs and using air conditioning? What a$$hats.
Who? Erika or Monica?
Where did you think it came from? Sheesh!
Well, this sucks.
I am predicting it won’t happen. This is because this season, hurricanes have been frequent, but act peculiar then peter out.
I think I counted seven hurricanes off the West coast of Mexico, all pointed at the tip of Baja, and they just sat there, then dissipated. The ones pointed at Hawaii were also very unpredictable, veering West, of all things, taking a route parallel to the equator heading the the wrong direction.
Till the NautiNurse says so!
bkmk
The radical warmists are praying to Gaia that Erika devastates Miami to validate their years of AGW lies.
