Still...that is a personal attack in a so called debate, which is supposed to ask questions regarding positions of each candidate.

No, I disagree. I think asking Trump about his behavior and the way he responds to people is a legitimate question. We have to trust that our President won’t fly off the handle and make a mistake under pressure because he can’t control himself. Asking a candidate about his character is legitimate and not necessarily a personal attack.

But when you take quotes out of context and slant an entire question to dishonestly impugn a person’s character, THAT is a personal attack.

I understand and share your frustration that the candidates weren’t asked much about their positions in the debate. Most of us already are well aware of Trump’s character flaws and now want to hear what positions he takes. Nonetheless, asking him about his REAL character flaws is legitimate. Inventing false ones, such as misogyny, is not.
