Hatred of the Establishment Revealed by a Pro-Trump Focus Group
Ace of Spades ^ | 8/25/15 | ACE

Posted on 08/25/2015 3:57:30 PM PDT by roses of sharon

The group said Trump has their best interests in mind, while other Republicans are looking out for themselves. "We've got to show the Republicans that we've had it with them, that we will not be there every single time. They treat us like crap and they lie to us and promise us things and then they expect us to vote again," said a Republican woman....

Much of Trumps support in the room seemed to stem from a weakness in the Republican party. The 2014 midterms did not usher in the conservative renaissance Republicans expected. Obamacare has still not been repealed, Congress is looking less likely to override a veto on the Iran deal, and there are still 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States.

The group of 29 went around the room, each supplying a single adjective for the legislative body that let them down after the 2014 elections. Congress "does nothing." It's "too old." "Useless." "Lame." "Inept." "Wrong party." "Cocktail party." "Gridlock." "Costly. "Sold out." "Sucks." "Douchebags."

Boy, isn’t that the truth.

What the heck have the Republicans done for the past several months; since they won back Congress? Maybe it is a lost cause but at least they should be talking about it.

Several months? They’ve had the house for four and a half years, and before the four years of Democratic control, a twelve year run where they had control of the Senate for the bulk of the time and for a chunk of that the Presidency as well.

"I want to put the Republican leadership behind this mirror and let them see. They need to wake up. They don’t realize how the grassroots have abandoned them"

La de ****in-da Frank. Yes they do and they don't give a shiite, we are the vulgarians, the coo-coo birds.

If they had any brains or if the consultancy class did they would be reading FR daily.

Case in point, the anti-GM fervor after the bailout was here before anyone saw it, I did, my auto gnomes I told didn't see if for two months. This place is so ahead of the curve it isn't even funny..

You know, I’ve thought about that a lot myself. I think the original hippies were alright. Live off the land, keep to themselves, live how they want to live. Sounds a lot like me, really. Now the whole drugs and other crap, no. I have known quite a few people here in Alaska who are children of “hippies” good people who mind their own business and help each other out. Some are still what I would call “earthy” but the same applies.

The RINOS have been bought out by the lobbyists. Very few of them even think about us except when they are “on vacation” and visiting with us is just about mandatory and, of course, at (re)election time.

Really, really pisses me off.

Go Cruz, go Trump. The RINOS have had their run.

Ya think?

Add to that lothing, disgust, and the desire to p*ss on every picture of a democrat (e.g. lying sleazy felon) that I see.

“What the heck have the Republicans done for the past several months; since they won back Congress?”

Well you see, they can’t do anything until they have the HOR, and the Senate, and the Congress, and the presidency, and the UN, and the United Federation of Planets, and......

It’s not “hatred.” It’s disgust.

Neal Boortz said on the air, in 2003, that the first, the prime directive, of any politician, was to get re-elected. Nothing else matters.

Now, the nation has been witness to the Uniparty under the mulatto queer, or as those infamous morning radio show hosts have said, “The bacon-wrapped shrimp club”.

Yeah, it is pretty pathetic. When they run for office, they say, “Vote for me, I’ll make a difference!” Then they get elected or re-elected and they spend their whole term making dirty deals and telling the people back home, “I can’t do anything because...” and they make an elaborate excuse to not so much as speak out about anything, much less oppose Obama on even one issue. They think we are stupid and don’t know what they are doing.

A Cruz or a Trump in the WH might be able to leverage the majorities via daily Bully Pulpit sessions to tell the People exactly who is doing what to subvert us....

They’re criminals. They con the electorate so they can pocket the bribes. It’s not lobbyists, it’s not PACs, it’s not foundations or think tanks. It’s bribery. That’s all it is bribery. They’re all getting rich selling out the country to the highest bidders. Everything else is show.
