ESPN has pulled former MLB All-Star Curt Schilling from its coverage of the Little League World Series following a controversial tweet comparing Muslim extremists to German Nazis.

“Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective," ESPN said in a statement. "We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.”

The big deal is that the US is today a much more Muzzified nation than in the past. I wonder how many people in the Us including the know-it-all news moguls know that Hitler and the Arabs were hand in hand in fighting/killing US soldiers in WWII. Shows how history can be twisted for the fast dollar. I have been enjoying watching the Little League play offs but will no longer do so knowing I have to be politically correct to be such involved.

I came across an intro to tonight's game on ESPN. The on-site host said that the Little League World Series is a wonderful event in which it doesn't matter your “race, religion,” etc. He then said “No, we aren't shilling for (ESPN).” That was my exposure to ESPN; otherwise, I switched the channel immediately.

But Muslim extremists ARE similar to German Nazis. ESPN is nutso. The Muslim extremists probably ENJOYED the comparison.

Curt was right, and I wonder what will happen to Tony (Korn Dog) Kornheiser for his remarks. (So I pulled up this thread as a reminder.)
