San Diego Businessman Gave $300K to Defeat Maine Gay Marriage Law: Report

A San Diego businessman was one of the largest donors to the National Organization for Marriage's efforts to defeat Maine's gay marriage law in 2009, according to a campaign disclosure report.

San Diego business leader Terry Caster donated $300,000 according to the report dated Friday.

The group went to court three different times to shield its list of donors who contributed more than $2 million combined, all of which was funneled to Stand for Marriage Maine, the political action committee that led the repeal effort.

Caster now has a rainbow-hued bullseye on his back. With NBC San Diego cheerfully creating the “wanted poster”, so to speak. No other reason for them to report on something like this.

How about a list of all the benefits and cash or equal received by ALL welfare recipient?

It was my money, I should see where it went!

Same for all government employees.

No, but people in Maine want people from away to keep their damn noses out of our affairs! People from away tried to ban bear hunting last year too. That didn’t work either. Money from away = kiss of death!
