Sunday night Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski, lambasted the GOP establishment consultant class, when he joined Breitbart’s senior political investigative reporter Matthew Boyle on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot radio, channel 125.
Lewandowski explained that what most infuriates the establishment consultants is they don’t have any say in Trump’s campaign or platform. “It drives them crazy. They want to say ‘I’ve run a campaign in the past. Pay me for my knowledge. I’ve been involved with previously failed presidential campaigns,’” he said.
With Trump “That’s not how his campaign works,” added Lewandowski. “We don’t want these consultants who talk about the glory old days of races they were involved with that weren’t successful. Anything that they can do to try and control Mr. Trump does not work.”

Absolutely right. They are seeing the end of the golden goose here. Who needs them if The Donald can get elected without their genius?
Isn’t this fun? Honestly, going into this primary season, despite many “qualified” people led by Cruz, I was apprehensive that even if elected, none would really be able to change anything. But The Donald can.
I wonder what percentage of these presidential campaign consultants end up getting gigs at the WH when they guy wins...

And then one of them said that he didn't like Trump but that he really didn't like Cruz.
I think the repube consults are real idiots and it is their own dam fault for dismissing the grassroots. Pushing Jeb on us and their big donors. Who the hell do they think they are?

Ditto here - only pray that DT has the best of the best around him Would be truly surprised to find he did not. Surely he is aware of what/who he needs and the subsequent consequences if he fails to select the proper parties. Perhaps the man is given too much credit from this direction...but frankly, I think not. He is aware. And do not SS men find themselves at some point in time assigned for such service to candidates? Seem to remember their doing this in the case of oh dark won when running. Not that their service could be trusted, either...just a thought as to procedure.

And it’s why I refuse to donate to anyone outside of local people I know.
National Pol’s can go pound sand! I almost donated to Cruz, and I may if he becomes the candidate, but he will be the first.
Trump must be driving them nuts because one of their strongest selling points is that no candidate can win without them. Even if Trump just does well, other candidates are going to say, “Why, again, am I paying these losers?”
And that question has no easy answer.

The consultant class knows 'trump speak' works... before the next election they'll be putting 'trump speak' in the mouths of the babbling idiots they're running. Then we'll wonder why we elect people who 'say the right thing' but never get anything done.
