I just read an article in the LJReview. I hate it when the republicans attack Trump. If I was not in his camp before, I’d be in his camp now. They didn’t/don’t attack obama but they do Trump. Makes no sense. They let obama lie and destroy... not a word against him. Trump comes in and does no harm... looks promising.. and they go wild with their critique. Angry at the very thought he can run and be ahead in the polls without their permission.

That alone would make me vote for Trump... their private club has been the reason abama has gotten away with unbelievable actions against our blessed country. That private GOP club needs to be broken wide open.

Doesn't make someone 'five years behind' to point out a fact.

Have you ever done calculus? Newton first developed modern calculus in 1665.

How does it feel to be 350 years behind?

Y’know.. I appreciate the attempts to find some rationalization in Trump’s words, but let me ask... how do we know that what he’s telling us now is in the realm of truth? He tends to “tailor” his remarks to the crowds he’s addressing... so what is he saying when in conversations with the Clintons or other close friends who don’t share values of traditional Americans?

And yes.. he does support single payer. That’s the system in use in Canada and he wants that for the U.S. And as for taking out ISIS, Ted Cruz was in support of that long before Trump ever flipped to whatever is his current position.

I get that large numbers of FReepers are supporters of his, but I’m not one of them; I’m wayyyy too hard a sell to buy into the words of someone who changes positions with the regularity Trump does. I don’t trust him or his words.

A perfect candidate “someday” isn’t good enough. We need something now. Something non GOPe.

It’s Trump or Cruz, in my mind, and Cruz hasn’t exactly been lighting the polls up. Could that change? I hope so, but even then I have my doubts about some very GOPe things Cruz has done, and then there’s the birth in Canada issue. I’m ok with that, but the Supreme Court that makes stuff up as it goes may not be.

Interesting times, huh?

Q: If Congress did away with the Affordable Care Act, what health reform plan would Mr. Trump propose in its place?

A: Mr. Trump will be proposing a health plan that will return authority to the states and operate under free market principles. Mr. Trump’s plan will provide choice to the buyer, provide individual tax relief for health insurance and keep plans portable and affordable. The plan will break the health insurance company monopolies and allow individuals to buy across state lines.

Oh, I’d say more than interesting.....fascinating...unprecedented. Without a doubt, Trump has reset the game - and all of that is good.

His liberal reflexes, and the anti-intellectualism of many of his supporters....no o good.

Now Laz, you’re smarter than that. You took the conversation out of context too....he accused me of not realizing what was going on TODAY - therefore, pointing out that I was ahead of the curve on this was absolutely appropriate.

He also accused me of whining because “politics ain’t beanbag” - which was another absurdly incorrect point....so he was like ZERO for TWO....and I was well within my rights to make that damned clear.

Maybe don’t jump in someone else’s conversation, unless you are up to speed on context. You’re better than that.

Normally...

Mr. Trump will be proposing a health plan that will return authority to the states and operate under free market principles.

The key is whether he'll hold to that commitment. Therein lies the issue, especially in light of the fact he lauded the Canadian system during the FNC debate. That's where trust comes into play.

Well, I have to admit, you HAVE exhibited leadership by enhancing the facilitation of synergystic, scalable core-competancy paradigm-shifts vis-a-vis the most granular service point of difference, empowering the ongoing assurance of the product architecture being functionally equivalent and parallel to the longitudinal business-practice shift postulated by the use of mission-critical management dialogue technology on a go-forward basis, in accordance with ISO-9001:2010 standards.

Besides, you know durn well I jump in all over the place without spending the time to read the article or see the context.

That stuff is boring.

Why do you and the other Trump unlikers not post the whole quote

That is the left does.....use out of context

Trump said he has an issue with Walker borrowing money and increasing debt rather than raising taxes to balance the upside down fiscal state of affairs in Wisconsin

Which is more harmful or which is better fiscal policy

Debt or higher taxes

Myself as a tiny businessman compared to The Donald I know what my banks would say

Bite the bullet pay off debt which in govt world means taxes which in the case of someone capable like Walker could easily be sundowned

Just letting the debt pile up is passing it on ala Bush II and Obama or any congress

Walker knows better Given he’s a master at cost cutting But they are still underwater

Anyhow one can argue both sides fair enough WHEN THE ENTIRE QUOTE IS USED

Doncha think?

Then perhaps "Mr. Trump" will tell the Donald to quit babbling about Scotland and Canada's single payor systems that are so fantastic...and to quit babbling about how Obama Care could have worked in a different time......as opposed to say, your projection fantasy.

One quick question. How can you claim your plan returns authority to the states when one major feature of it is removing a state's authority to regulate insurance companies doing business within its borders?
