Angry investors capture head of China metals exchange
FT.com ^ | August 23, 2015 | Lucy Hornby

The Financial Times is very sensitive about cut-and-paste. So suffice to say that a mob grabbed the head of a Chinese metals exchange, roughed him up, then turned him over to police.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Foreign Affairs; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: china; exchange; metals
This will certainly calm the markets. The article does not say if torches and pitchforks were involved.

Commodities are an excellent way to make moderate returns, and lose your fortune.

Sadly, folks don’t invest wisely and then want to blame others.

People are so angry. Leaders and prominent players are in trouble.

Last week the Navajo were chasing John McCain off their reservation.

Kudos to the Navajos...

They see what a lot of our team have failed to pick up on.

It’s time for Johnny Boy to go.

The Chinese make their villains wear sign boards and dunce caps. At least they did when Mao was still vertical.

I really wish I had the guts to invest in commodities.

I could make lots of money...I could lose a lot as well.

These folks evidently didn’t “get it”.

Boy, we could learn something from the Chinese. They don’t shoot cops or unarmed black kids...they drag the REAL criminals through the streets.

It’s actually different than just commodities.

These guys were rolling products together and reselling them in ways that would make Lehman blush.

Commodities are brutal.

I’m sure there are people out there making money. I’m not one of them.

I’ve lost money on silver. I learned my lesson.

That explains what happened to the head.

Still attached to the body, I assume...

Commodities are brutal.

Silver has been counter-intuitive for a long time. My cat Buffy once jumped on my ipod and almost made a silver sale. The cat was right and I was wrong.
