Sharyl, Hillary Clinton has asserted at least once, publicly, that she had permission to use the private server. I have yet to hear a single reporter ask her:

1. Who gave you permission to use a private server for official government business?
2. Where is the written authorization (proof) for you to use a private server for official government business?

If you have the opportunity, please pursue an answer to that question. Thanks for your reporting.

....whether or not Clinton is ever formally accused of any crime, President Obama could issue her a pardon, if he so chose.

Paging all attorneys. How does this work? Wouldn't she have to have been convicted for Zero to give her a pardon? If this goes the way I want it to, she'll be convicted after the next GOP president is inaugurated so that she spends at least 4 years in prison.

I wonder if that company in Colorado that contracted to wipe the HD did the prudent thing and made a copy. Surely they did.

Don't be too sure. Remember the Clintons have a way of cleaning up messes like that. See alamogirl's site.

I believe a president can pardon someone, even from being charged with a crime.

Didn’t Gerald Ford pardon Nixon, and some said it was a quid pro quo, for making him vice president? Even so, I do believe issuing a pardon for Nixon helped the country to heal.
